Windy Pinwheel was created by two families who, who are graduates of the University of Nevada, Reno and are avid Wolf Pack fans who love to spend time with their children. We enjoy having fun with our kids and discovering new things to do with kids and new family fun adventures in Northern Nevada and the Sierras region.
We, want this website to be a resource for other parents in Northern Nevada for finding activities to do with kids that are fun, family-friendly, educational, and most importantly, cost effective. We will review various family-friendly venues, provide information about great adventures for you and your children in and around the Northern Nevada area from Reno, Sparks, Fernley, Fallon, and Carson City, all the way to Lake Tahoe, Apple Hill, Dayton, Elko, Winnemucca and beyond, and host a giveaway or two from time to time along the way.
Our articles and reviews span technology reviews of the latest iOS apps for the iPad and iPhone as well as new arts and crafts ideas and even an occasional write up showing our pride in our Alma Mater, the University of Nevada Wolf Pack.
