Oh how I love looking at the lights. It’s not uncommon for me during the holiday season to turn off the lights in the house and simply watch the lights twinkle on the Christmas tree (something which I plan to do yet this evening). I can only imagine the hours of intense labor to string all the lights on the houses that you posted above, all for the enjoyment of others. I do believe that the twinkling lights, especially, have a calming effect. I especially like the lights on the houses that are chroeographed to music. The possibilities are limited only to one’s imagination. Thanks for the article.

Oh how pretty. I do love the holiday lights of red, white, blue, green and yellow. As much as I love string the lights on our home, our health simply does not allow us to decorate like we used to; however, we do the next best thing and that is to visit the different neighborhoods around town. One in particular, every house in the neighborhood association has joined to make it an annual event. The event has grown in popularity so much that last year, they had the local police directing traffic through the neighborhood. Well worth the slow pace through the neighborhood as the driver can enjoy the scenery just as much as the passengers. We plan on visiting the neighborhood this weekend. Thanks for your article.
