“I’m bad, and that’s good. I will never be good, and that’s not bad. There’s no one I’d rather be than me.” – Wreck-it Ralph, voiced by John C. Reilly
Wreck-it Ralph is a story of a video game villain from a classic 1980’s video game who wants more out of life than destroying buildings and wants to be accepted by others as more than a villain. In fact, he wants to be a hero. In a world when the video game arcade closes, video game characters are able to move from video game to video game in the off-hours. Wreck-it Ralph, of the game Fix-it Felix, Jr. finds a way to get a medal from a nearby first-person shooter game and when he does, he unleashes an arcade virus, or at least he thinks he does. In the game Sugar Rush he meets Vanellope von Schweetz, voiced by Sarah Silverman, a wannabe racer with a very noticable glitch that causes her to possibly threaten the game to become “out of order” if she is allowed to race as one of the characters of this game with a sugar and sweets theme. Together the two find out a plot to rule the arcade is underway by a true villain. Find out what happens by owning Disney’s Wreck-it Ralph, a staple that should be in every child’s movie library and stream it today on Amazon Video.
Other notable actors in this movie include Jane Lynch who voices Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun, the lead character of Hero’s Duty and Alan Tudyk who voices King Candy, the ruler of Sugar Rush.
